Karan Johar invited to the London Olympics

Last year in May 2011 Britain’s national tourism agency Visit Britain had appointed filmmaker Karan Johar as its goodwill ambassador for the ‘Britain You’re Invited’ campaign. Today Visit Britain invited Karan Johar for the Olympics to be held from the 27th of July to the 12th of August 2012. The filmmaker has received an official invitation to join the 506 dignitaries present at the event, the other person invited from India is Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu HIT or FLOP – Box Office Prediction

Karan Johar’s Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, directed by Shakun Batra on debut, releases today. The film has a fresh star cast (Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor) and good catchy music as it’s major USP’s. It’s the second film from the Dharma Productions banner to release in as many weeks – Agneepath released on 26th January and opened to historic numbers. Can Ek Main Aur Ek Tu repeat the magic? Will it be back to back hits for Dharma?  We certainly hope so, as the pre-release reports are fabulous. Those who have watched it, have only good things to say about the film.
