His last hit was Love Aaj Kal in 2009. Since then, Saif Ali Khan has featured in three films – Kurbaan, Aarakshan, Agent Vinod – two of them with girlfriend Kareena Kapoor and none of them made a mark at the box-office. This week, the keenly-awaited Cocktail released to a fantastic response.  The distributors and exhibitors are now pretty upbeat about the box-office prospects of the film. We’ve received plenty of requests for a poll between Diana Penty and Deepika Padukone. Some emails that we received.. Anupama: Dear Indicine, I have a small suggestion. Why don’t you start on a poll on who is prettier – Deepika Padukone or Diana Penty? I remember you started a poll on who is the prettiest actress in Housefull 2. A picture captured on the sets of the film ‘Cocktail’ shows Deepika’s non glamorous part. The 26 year old actress is seen getting her hairstyle done. Yet she looks pretty. Cocktail is a romantic comedy that is produced by Saif Ali Khan under his Illuminati films banner. He will be starring in it as well. Debutante Diana Penty will be the second female lead. The film is expected to release on July 13th this year. The promos are likely to be released with Saif’s movie ‘Agent Vinod’.

Deepika Padukone returns to Race 2

The producer of Race 2, Ramesh Taurani, who tagged Deepika as unprofessional, once again wants her on board. From the beginning Deepika has always been the first choice for Race 2, as dates were adjusted to accommodate the actress. But after shooting for a few days she walked out citing date problems. This behaviour lead to heated arguments between the actress and the producer.
