Kabir Khan has confirmed his film with Salman Khan. It’ll be the actor-director duo’s third film after ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.
While Kabir has given Salman the biggest grosser of his career, it was Salman who took Kabir’s directorial career to the next level. Before Ek Tha Tiger, Kabir had directed films like ‘Kabul Express’ and ‘New York’.
There you go then, one of the biggest directors in the industry with the biggest megastar in India. Eid 2017 is the date.

@ Saksham : Really enjoy reading your comments but was a bit surprised with that comment. I think every actor or actress will be obsessed with EDX. Who would not want to release on it and deliver a blockbuster?
It is just that the big boys (Khans, Hrithik, Ajay, Akshay) get the opportunity to do it because they are big enough to release on the festivals and so the others have to back down even if they dont want to. And Khans being the top 3 have done it most of the times because they are at the top.
The bigger movie will always get the first right on the festival. When Hrithik and Ajay had a big movie they went ahead and released it. Ajay has released movies on diwalis previously and has booked this years as well as next years diwali and rightfully so. Even Ranveer did it with BM and Ranbir coming this diwali. Hearing Ranbir coming next Christmas too with Rajkumar Hirani.

With producers announcing festival (Holi, Diwali, Christmas) and holiday (Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti) release dates upto two years in advance, there is often a tussle on holiday dates. Often, two producers want the same date and neither backs down.
Karan Johar, an astute businessman, admits release dates are important. However, he has no such qualms. Ask him what he would do if someone else decided to release their date on the Friday he had announced for his release, he says, “It’s simple. If I am the bigger movie, I will stay, and if I am the smaller movie, I will move. I have no ego about that. I don’t have a problem changing my release date. My advice to any producer is: It’s a commercial enterprise, if you’ve announced the date and there’s a bigger movie that comes on the same date, run.”

Below Average Director. Kabir Khan is nowhere close to good director.
BB worked because of deaf and mute girl factor. otherwise, very ordinary movie. not even hit music. direction was barely average. Once the suspense is gone, BB has zero repeat value.
Eid 2017 expecting a big flop for sure.
I hope there is another release on Eid 2017 to give is a full competition. I bet he will not cross 170 cr.
So jungle book 3D version is releasing tomorrow ..i am regretting for watch the crap batman v superman wasting my 300 rs.. batman v superman was bokwas movie with 2/3 3D effects.. the whole movies was shot in either dark or night vision
