We keep getting a lot of questions on the word-of-mouth and verdicts of 2017 films. We have compiled a list of almost all film releases this year and included two columns; one for the verdict and the other for word-of-mouth.
‘Bahubali 2’, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, ‘Hindi Medium’ and ‘Jolly LLB 2’ are the only four outright winners this year. Sridevi’s MOM is carrying positive reports, it could join the list of successful films, if it manages to hold after the release of ‘Jagga Jasoos’ next week.

To anand original, you are right. Ra.one was made on a budget of 105cr & collected 115cr & got the verdict, hit instead of below average, or average, or even above average.
And tubelight is flop with 120cr(producers) & 116cr(trade) on a budget of 90-100cr.
Let it be called flop. It shows that Salman Khan belongs to another level. Jiski ki “64cr non-holiday weekend(ramdan)” with negative reviews & feedback coming from first show ko flop collection kaha jaye, toh samaj lo Salman khan is seriously a megastar.

Anarkali of Aarah and Trapped are two of the topmost rated films this year. Even Haramkhor received good reviews. Very few people watched these films and they liked them so how you rated the wom as ‘mixed’ when commercial audience haven’t even seen these films.

When will Akki deliver a Bollywood HGOTY/ATBB/2.5cr+ffs/20cr opening? Any guesses. Don say 2.O, its not a Bollywood(Bombay-based) film+Akki’s role is like Vivek Oberoi in Krishh3. We will see Akki’s aukaat after that.
BTW SRK delivered 11 clean hits in a row from 2006 to 2014. Akki’s highest is 5. Longest period sans clean hit is also akki-1996 to 2003, 7 years(After KKK to Andaaz).
