The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Wednesday threatened to not allow the theatrical release of Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees – if the Pakistani actors in the two films are not replaced.
“The day Pakistan will stop attacking our country, we will extend the hand of friendship. We do not have anything against art but the artistes who are employed in India, remained mum on the terror attack in Uri” Amey Khopkar, President of MNS’s film wing, told reporters at a press conference.
“We gave them an ultimatum of 48 hours to leave India. You can rest assured that they have left, but if we find any Pakistani artiste, we won’t spare”
MNS workers also protested out of Johar’s Dharma Productions office for casting Fawad Khan in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
“Karan Johar isn’t bigger than the government. If Karan Johar and ‘Raees’ makers don’t replace the actors, we will not allow ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Raees’ to release.”
The party’s General Secretary Shalini Thackeray said “Fawad Khan is not the only target. We are against every Pakistani actor. We will not allow any Pakistani actor to work in Mumbai.”

This controversy is just getting more and more ugly . Both these movies may get severely affected if this continues . Maharashtra is the most important circuit when it comes to domestic business and MNS will use all their might to protest against the release . These things can also play on the audiences mind and create doubt in their minds . Let’s hope this controversy gets sorted as soon as possible .
Until we have parties like Shiv Sena, MNS and organizations like VHP in India and dogs like Hafeez Saeed and Moulana Azhar in Pakistan, peace between these two nations is a distant dream.

FYI – as repeated earlier India does not need Pakistan … We are 12 times their GDP which is lesser than even our states like Maharashtra… Let us be powerhouse and create global business like Tata abd Reliance who go ahead and conquer businesses in USA uk etc… Pakistan can only dream of such success … At the end of the day as we grow our economy more countries will automatically come to us..
