After predicting correctly for 6 major movies in a row, #IndicineFBO has got it wrong for the first time in 2015. While T-Series was expecting a 10 crore+ opening, we were confident that the film will fall short of the first day collections of Akshay Kumar’s Baby – which was carrying outstanding pre-release reports and was promoted as a film from the makers of A Wednesday and Special 26.
Even though it was Ranbir’s first film in more than a year and the music did well, Ranbir hasn’t promoted the film and we expected the audience to be well aware of the fact that Roy was infact just a Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez film.
However, Roy has exceeded expectations at the box office and has done incredibly well on Day 1. Credit should go to T-Series for promoting the film as cleverly as they did.

I did not watch Shamitabh as I didn’t have time so it is not must I watch ROY.
