The trailer of Anees Bazmee’s ‘Welcome Back’ has been released on the Eros Now website, but the makers of the film are yet to release the trailer on Youtube.
The ‘Welcome Back’ trailer begins with Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar, who are in search of a eligible bachelor for their sister (character played by Shruti Haasan), who is in love with Ajju bhai (played by John Abraham).
Unlike the first ‘Welcome’ film, the sequel has a lot more action, grandeur and some incredible stunts. However, the audience will miss the presence of Akshay Kumar, who was terrific with his comic timing in the first film. There is plenty of acting talent though – Paresh Rawal, Nana, Anil, Naseeruddin Shah and Dimple Kapadia.
John’s character goes well with his personality. Shruthi Haasan and the other girls in the film look beautiful.

no one can beat akki in comedy….. this movie will surely desastar

challa made a good point. welcome initial was because of akshay’s amazing patch of 2005 to 2007. he was the conventional hero f the movie.
Mark my words will be difficult to cross even 60 crores. None of the scenes looks original. That desert secene reminds of those Awara Pagal Dewana movie scenes.

There are many scenes which are copied from multiple films.
1. Welcome- all characters except John are doing the same which the original welcome’s characters did, like nana and Anil finding the groom who is from honorable family. Naseeruddin shah entry same as late firoz khan’s entry from helicopter.
2. Zindagi na milegi dobara- the scene in which all are paragliding in the air is copied from zindagi na milegi dobara scene.
3. Ready- John does same kind of drama under wedding like Salman did in ready’s climex.
4. Awaara pagal deewana- the last dessert scene is ditto copy of awara pagal deewana’s climax which was same kind of chase.

BREAKING NEWS. after expressionless john, now Vijay Raj is rumored to replace gobar kumar in sequel to BABY. producers thought that debacle of baby has made them bankrupt so why not to cast an actor who look better and act better than gobar kumar. so that’s why vijay raj is reprising akshay’s role. vijay raj has way more fan following than floppy kumar.
