2008 has witnessed quite a few films from Bollywood that tickled your funny bone; Golmaal Returns, Singh Is King to name a few. But most would agree that 2008, wasn’t particularly a great year for funny Bollywood films. While Golmaal Returns and Singh Is King worked at the box-office, movies like the much hyped Krazzy 4 and Ugly Aur Pagli failed miserably.
Paresh Rawal, known for his great comic timing and acting skills had 3 funny roles this year One Two Three, Mera Baap Pehle Aap and Maan Gaye Mughal-e-azam, none of which worked at the BO.
Our personal favorite was Abhishek Bachchan from Dostana, he got his comic timing perfectly right for the role. John Abraham’s role in Dostana wasn’t exactly comic, so he will be included in the Best Supporting actor category.
Almost all actors from Golmaal Returns got a nomination; Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade and our fav character from the Golmaal series Tusshar Kapoor, it has to be the best role of his life!
We have intentionally not included Akshay Kumar for Singh Is King, due to his immense popularity the poll would have been one sided. He will be included in the Best Actor category.

In your selection list various actors nominated for best actor in a comic role category. But out of that Abhishek Bachan’s role in Dostana is superb. So, according to me he is the best comic actor for the year 2008.
