Bollywood actress Vidya Balan was admitted to the Hinduja Hospital in Khar on Wednesday. The actress, who was supposed to spend the New Year with her husband Siddharth Roy Kapoor, was not able to catch a connecting flight from Abu Dhabi to their holiday destination.
While boarding the plane, the actress experienced immense pain in her back due to which they had to cancel their trip immediately.
Initial reports suggest that the cause of the pain is Kidney Stones.
A spokesman of the actress said, “Vidya is currently in expert hands at Hinduja hospital and is well on her way to recovery.”
Meanwhile, there are reports coming in that Vidya could be discharged from hospital on New Year’s Day.
“Vidya is recovering well. She is feeling better. Most probably she will get discharged by tomorrow” a source close to the actress informed.
