Salman Khan’s Veer has opened to a fantastic response at the box office and is currently on a record-breaking spree on single screens. Business is best in North, East and Central India and worst down South.
Single screen business is 90% on Day 1 while multiplexes have seen around 50-60% average through the day. Combined, Veer has managed to nett 7 crores on Day 1 all over India.
As the film is performing best at single screens, it would be unfair to compare Veer based on box office nett collections. Going by the distributors share, the Day 1 business of Veer is next only to Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots and Ghajini.
Saturday too, the business is excellent at single screens and it would be very interesting to see how the film performs on its first crucial weekday. Tuesday, being a holiday (Republic day) should also boost the Week 1 collections.
If the trending is close to as good as Wanted, Veer should easily attain HIT status.

As from analysis of the movie,Movie fate depend on Distribution share….More the share ,more chance of Hit ….Movie which earn more at Multiplex,they have less share in comparison to single screen ,In same condition movie wanted was superhit..With budget around 38 crs for Wanted,According to ur fact,movie had to earn 78 crs in the process to be hit and more than 78crs for superhit..What is the final verdict of Wanted????It was superhit at around 62-63 crs.Same applies with VEER, As single screen movie is performing well,it mean their will be more share from it,and if it can share around 30 crs,it will be declare hit

srijon veer needs 30 plus dis share to be declared a hit, BOI says more 30cr set is 50 cror share, not 30, veers budget is 50 cr, im not anti-sallu but when u lot diss akki of and deny his starpower which is accepted by trades even indicine that akki is deffo in the top 5 league due to consistancy of his films opening, now if people create anti publicty and campaign against his film, its bound to effect its future collection. but i know he will back to giving hits as the budget will be controlled this year, akki will follow amir and srks business strategy and cut down his humongous fees which has affected the verdict for his films. Nauman, yeh man, im here to support u. anyways veer has less than 12 days to make its money, MNIK isn’t far away so hope for the best.

this is the worst movie of our times ..make no mistake about it…it has the most pathetic production values..wooden starcast…idiotic storyline and wasteful song picturisation.. it looks apparant that people are praising it just cos their favorite star is in it .. this is no valid review and criticism here ..just patting the back here goading people to watch this stupid enterprise.. but my views are clear this has to be the worst movie by the superstar and no amount of srk aamir bashing will take this movie more than a week and less than 15 crores all over ..btw what is the overseas report?? my guess is that if intelligent junta here has rejected it ..so will the overseas bazaar
