Salman Khan’s Veer has opened to a fantastic response at the box office and is currently on a record-breaking spree on single screens. Business is best in North, East and Central India and worst down South.
Single screen business is 90% on Day 1 while multiplexes have seen around 50-60% average through the day. Combined, Veer has managed to nett 7 crores on Day 1 all over India.
As the film is performing best at single screens, it would be unfair to compare Veer based on box office nett collections. Going by the distributors share, the Day 1 business of Veer is next only to Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots and Ghajini.
Saturday too, the business is excellent at single screens and it would be very interesting to see how the film performs on its first crucial weekday. Tuesday, being a holiday (Republic day) should also boost the Week 1 collections.
If the trending is close to as good as Wanted, Veer should easily attain HIT status.

then Kambakhht Ishq got 42 cr in 1st week and decaler hit status in its 1st week according to Taran Adarsh and he put a artical about KI and Title was ” Kambakhht Hit ” but later one all started to talk abt heavy budget and final verdict above avg , even KI collected more than 60 cr.

budget is 100 cr , budget is 80 cr budget is 70 – 80 cr even some one said budget is 120 cr.
then De dana dan 1 month before release mentioned budget is 30 cr . movie sold by 30 cr to baba movies . but later on again heavy budget.

akki didnt charge his fee all other charectos were not worthfull they didnt charge more than 1 ,2 cr expect lead cast.

Veer did not have Katz but Zarine looks like Katz and she did good job and she had appearance in whole movie and katz hasn’t enough screen appearance in DDD.
DDD had hera Pheri Team than Veer has Director Of Gaddar biggest blockbuster of last decade , Even priyadarshan hasn’t any blockbuster in his credit .
DDD was comedy and Veer is Periodical. But Veer has full masala , ur fav Sohail Khan’s best comedy ( according to u best comedy timming ) , melodious music , fight sequences , love story , back ground score , emotions and good climax. What do u want from any other movie except these things ? Veer has all masala stuff which is needed for a Hit movie.
Veer hasn’t a comedian team but it had Bhai Bhai ka Pyar ( Sallu Sohail apopearnce more than 5 movies ).

According to our estimates, Veer Friday was 7 crores, Saturday was around 6 crores and Sunday approx 8 crores.
Weekend is around 21 crores nett.
