The logo of ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ is out and it’s classy. The film, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, stars Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
In an official statement, Yash Raj Films said “This ambitious film that brings together Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan for the first time, will begin shoot aboard two specially constructed, massive ships, that are currently docked by the Maltese seaside. Thugs of Hindostan will begin filming on these ships that have been built for over two months.”
Director Vijay Krishna Acharya added “The set of the film is in a high security water zone, with restricted access. Both these ships have been built in the early eighteenth century style, when vessels would carry cannons and other weapons. An international crew has been hard at work creating these elaborate ships in Malta. Most of the portions filmed on board these ships involve high octane action”
In a press conference, Aamir also said the film is not inspired by the Pirates Of The Carribean series of films.
‘Thugs of Hindostan’ goes on floors on June 5. It brings together, two industry legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan on the big screen for the first time. It’s scheduled to release in theatres during the Diwali weekend next year.

It will be interesting to see whether Aamir will do better than his previous film or not (ATG is very tough as it has to do 500 cr+) , if he will do so.. He will the undisputed King of Box Office for me..
Bcoz Noone has given ATG in Diwali in this Decade, Krrish 3 was close (if we consider trade, 196 cr hindi) but can’t give.
This movie has the potential if Movie will be classic but Baahubali has set a Mountain of 500 cr Club.. Doing better than Dangal will be a big task

Superb! Looks amazing. Would be another ATHG movie in BOLLYWOOD from Aamir Khan. Looking at Aamir’s popularity in China, if the makers invest a 500 cr budget, that will be one of the biggest action films of Asia. It would also give them a chance to match or surpass Bahubali 2 hindi and Aamir would once again create the ATHG movie in HINDI.

I am honestly not very much excited for TOH because of Vijay Krishna Acharya . Both Tashan and Dhoom 3 were unbearable for me . The only thing that excites me is watching Amit Ji and Aamir on the big screen for the first time . This is the biggest Hindi film of 2018 and 2nd biggest Indian Film after 2.0 . YRF, Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan these are huge names which are attached in this project . Fatima Sana Shaikh was impressive in Dangal and I hope she gives her best in this film . I don’t have too many expectations from Katrina as she is not great when it comes to acting but her presence may help the film to some extent
. After Fitoor, Phantom and BBD her career is looking bright with TZH, TOH and Dwarf with SRK and Anand Rai (not confirmed) .
What Aamir said totally means it’s inspired from Pirates of the Caribbean. Aamir lied about Dhoom:3 too by saying he doesn’t have dual role in the movie.
Mark my words, it will be inspired from the Pirates movie. However not a direct copy but as much as D:3 was inspired from Prestige, Bol Bachchan from Golmal or the new Chashme Baddoor from its old version.
