There were rumours that Hrithik Roshan or Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger would be signed to play the negative role in Robot 2, but it has now been confirmed that it’ll be none other than Akshay Kumar who will play the negative lead.
Akshay’s presence will significantly increase the reach of Robot 2 all over India. His role will be as big as Rajinikanth’s in the sequel to the super successful Enthiran.
The biggest superstar from the south will take on one of the most popular stars from the Hindi film industry. Can’t get bigger, can it?

not bothered if rajni has bigger screen time than akki, but akki as the baddie is big role already, baddies usually have less screen time than hero like srk in darr lesser screen time than sunny, so I don’t see any problem with that.

Akshay is , was and always a better actor and would have been bigger superstar than Salman, SRK or Aamir if he had support of big directors and production houses like Yash chopra, Karan Johar, Rajkumar Hirani. He did mostly with lesser filmmakers and unknown production houses and still was able to establish himself as top 5 stars in bollywood )) he had no option but did what came his way )) if Yash chopra chose Akshay ahead of SRK and Raju Hirani ahead of Aamir , then Akshay would have been the No 1 star in India )) Robot 2 will show his range as a star ))
Had Akshay Kumar reduced the quantity of his films after singh is king then no doubt he would have been the biggest superstar of India till today… Yes bigger than khans…
