Yash Raj Films’ has announced that the theatrical teaser of Salman Khan’s Sultan will be attached to the prints of Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN, which hits theatres on April 15. The teaser is expected to be out on the internet on April 14.
The decision to attach the Sultan teaser to FAN was expected, because films are produced and distributed by YRF. Since the SRK film would be watched by millions of people both in and out of India, the Sultan teaser will reach out to a huge section of the movie-going audience.
Since both Raees and Sultan are scheduled to release during Eid this year, it’s going to be SRK himself who will be promoting a film that will be competing for screen-space against his own film.
It remains to be seen if YRF could also use FAN to book screens for Sultan. The battle for screen-share could get very interesting, if the makers of both films decide to release their film during the lucrative festive weekend of Eid.

Yes, first and second biggest collections in overseas are currently being held by Amir and some non-actor. But don’t jump around like a monkey if non-actor luckily got a good script.
Else we all know, how non-actor khan used to compete with Tushar Kapoor and Rajpal Yadav in overseas market with his recent releases. So better don’t forget yours and your non-actor’s aukaat. Lol

There was a time in 2007-08-09 when Yrf were disastrous when it came to Promoting their films.That could be seen in Laga Chunari me daag,Tashan,Thoda pyaar thoda magic etc.But these past few years have seen them making a very successful comeback when it comes to Promoting their films.Infact,Dhoom 3,Fan and now Sultan have adopted a very very good marketing strategy.It will be interesting to see where they go from here for Sultan.Hoping for the best!

I am so glad that the Megastar has shown such a great gesture for our last hope and to help our beloved idol’s upcoming niche thriller which still is doubtful for 100 cr club entry. so thanks to this megastar so our dreams for fan having less than 10 cr opening will not be shattered like a broken mirror.

SULTAN post-production will not be finished by July 1st week. The film is not even 40% shot. Anushka just joined. Salman nursing injuries. Shooting has been delayed big time.
2nd of all:
Salman films need massive post-production work. slow motion sfx vfx design and execusion. Sultan will post-pone to Diwali for sure.
3rd of all:
SULTAN is barely releasing “teaser” not “full threatrical trailer.” This only means one thing for sure. 90% of the Teasers never have fully done vfx, sfx shots. Hint: RAEES teaser!. This means By April 15, SULTAN will still be in-production, still shooting with less than 3 months to go.
4th of all:
RAEES was already postponed from chrismas 2015 to Eid 2015. Just like FAN postponed for a year for post-production work. SULTAN is wrestling heavy. Needs massive post-production. A. A. Zafar has poor record at BO. He needs to spend atleast 4 months in post-production to get this right. After all, SULTAN is not a Telugu Remake like 90% of Salman movies.
Sultan will be ATBB….no one can stop it to collect more than ?1500Cr.
