The trailer of Salman Khan’s Sultan has become the most ‘liked’ trailer on Youtube, surpassing the 179,000 plus total of Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN which released in theatres earlier this year.
FAN still tops the year in terms of view count (23 million plus), but with more than a week to go for the release of Sultan – the film could go on to be the most watched and most liked trailer of all time (Indian films only).
While high view and like count doesn’t really make a difference at the box office, it does indicate that the trailer has reached out to a lot of moviegoers.

During the trailer analysis article of Mohenjo Daro Indicne pointed out that the total like % is only 85% and then said that trailer is very decisive in the collections of films and if a trailer is more than 90% it is considered good and it will help the film in a big way and blah blah blah….
Now…just looking at some of the the trailers from the above list which got more ‘Like’ percentage than Mohenjo Daro and checking whether they turned out to be BBs or Super Hits…here are some…

Mohenjo Daro trailer might not have satisfies some…but personally for me the film has all the ingredients to be a BO biggie….ever since the movie shooting started in Jan 2015 it was touted as an Action – Adventure – Revenge – Love – Epic genre set in that era and I fail to understand which part of this the trailer failed to show…obviously there will be many PR teams of other actors who will purposefully degrade another star’s movie and this is a classic example of that.
But one thing to be remembered is this social media keyboard warriors are not the ones who will make or break a movie…they can try and downgrade a movie but ultimately it will be the genuine cinelovers in the public where majority of them doesn’t give a damn to Pooja Hegde’s dressing style and whether the walls and streets where like this during that era and all that bullshit. They need to get their moneys worth and they are entertained, and if Mohenjo Daro will provide it the there is no stopping in the BO. This is not only for Mohenjo Daro but applicable to all the movies..cheers!
