Sultan continued its good run on Day 11 at the box office, with net collections of Rs 11.46 crore. The film has already achieved ‘blockbuster’ status and could soon become the 6th All Time Blockbuster (including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai) of Salman Khan’s career.
The growth over Friday is 54%, which is quite significant considering the fact that the film was running on its 11th day at the box office. In fact, the 11-day average of Sultan (Rs 22.55 crore) is higher than the previous highest single-day collections of all other films that released in 2016.
Sultan will cross the 250 crore mark on Sunday, becoming only the 4th film in the history of the Hindi film industry to net more than 250 crore. The film should eventually surpass Dhoom 3, but crossing the 300 crore mark could prove to be difficult.
Currently, it’s looking like a 285 – 290 crore finish for Sultan.
