In yet another incident that highlighted Shahrukh Khan’s unpunctuality, journalists in Chennai boycotted an event to promote Happy New Year.
The press conference at the ITC Grand Chola was supposed to begin at 4:30PM on Friday, but the superstar only arrived at the venue at 8PM.
Sources say, while a few angry journalists left at around 6:30PM after waiting for more than 2 and a half hours, the others started raising a voice after Khan arrived and then walked out.
SRK couldn’t pacify the journalists even though he promised each media representative an exclusive interaction with him.
There have been several incidents in the past when journalists have raised their and questioned Shahrukh on making them wait for hours. Back in 2011, Khan had apologised to the media saying “I am extremely sorry. I apologise for being late and next time I will make sure the information is passed on to everyone. I think it deserves an apology first. So I say sorry, and I’ll make sure the information is reached out to everyone next time”
Update: We have been informed by a journalist in Chennai that there was some miscommunication between the event organisers and the media. The event was supposed to start after 7 and SRK arrived at 7:45PM.

@nipun CE did more than 32 cr on day 1 from 3600 screens while Bong bong did 27 cr from 4300 screens lol.
Second day was 10 crore less than CE lol.
K3 was less enjoyable than Bong bong then how can it earn 244 cr? So manipulation in K3 collections are very clear.

Shah Rukh Khan Calls Aamir Khan Half Hero!

While Salman Khan is confused whether or not to kiss and make up with Shah Rukh Khan, from being overtly interested to promote Happy New Year on Bigg Boss to mocking at SRK’s 10 pack abs, Shah Rukh Khan seems to be in a nasty mood when it comes to Aamir Khan. Recently, he called Aamir a half hero. Obviously, all those present were stunned at Shah Rukh’s reaction towards Aamir, as till recently there was no news of any rivalry between the two. It so happened that Boman Irani sang Give Me Some Sunshine from 3 Idiots at Google Head Quarters when the Happy New Year team came visiting. Someone asked Irani to name the actor in the film and he said Aamir Khan. Shah Rukh was pretty prompt in saying, “When so many stars are present on stage, why are you talking about Half-heroes?” Well, now, what do you mean by Half- heroes exactly, Shah Rukh? We tried to wrap our head around the word but it sounded frail. It doesn’t mean anything. Also, we wonder when the Khan’s will learn to publicise films on their own merit rather than taking digs at each other . Guess our Khan‘s need to grow up even at 48.

@karthik bro you are wrong, srk is inspiration for mithaiwala, after seeing CE he became halwai of srk and than wasting his precious time here instead to make sweets,yesterday he was said that whenever he sit on auto/riksaw he asked them are you a Salman fan, now I think we need to ask Halwai that are you a srk fan or we need to ask persons who chew Tabacco pan masala product are they srkian after all Self proclaimed king and late over actor now non actor endorsing Pan Vilas as a brand for KKR,Such an inspiration he is.

Sarkar isnt the only one who is late- his fans too are always several hrs late for his films shows hence the low collections of 99% of his films…. Biggest star should always have biggest hits but sadly only Lungi Express obtained that status in 22 years…!
