Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan have been targeted by the Shiv Sena, who have asked “responsible citizens” like Shah Rukh Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Karan Johar not to sign them in their films. Shiv Sena has vowed not to let the Pakistani actors promote their upcoming films in Maharashtra.
Fawad, who made his Bollywood debut with the 2014 film ‘Khoobsurat’, has more Hindi films including Dharma Productions’ ‘Kapoor & Sons’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
On the other hand, Mahira is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Rahul Dholakia’s ‘Raees’.
“We have taken a stand not to allow any Pakistani actor, cricketer or performer to step on Maharashtra soil” said Chitrapat Sena general secretary Akshay Bardapurkar.
Shiv Sena had prevented legendary Pakistani singer Ghulam Ali from performing here earlier this month.
“We are not really bothered about who is signing these Pakistanis in their film. Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Shah Rukh Khan etc. are responsible citizens and they should not cast Pakistanis in their film,” Bardapurkar added.

It’s nice to say all this. Gandhian principles are profound and insightful to be honest. But Gandhism can’t stop a Hitler. And top to be brutally honest, the Pakistan govt. has gone a step ahead of Hitler. There is a limit to tolerance. Pakistaani people make be nice (it’s never the mistake of individuals) but the hate and venom their Govt. is spreading needs to be given a fitting reply.
