‘Rock On 2’ is the worst opening for a film starring Shraddha Kapoor in the lead, from the time she made a comeback with ‘Aashiqui 2’ which many believe is her debut film in the industry.
Not many are aware that Shraddha made her debut in Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Teen Patti’, which released in 2010. It was a minor role and the film was a box office disaster. She returned a year later in ‘Luv Ka The End’, a small budget film that did not work.
However, post the release and ‘blockbuster’ success of ‘Aashiqui 2’, Shraddha had hit a purple patch which included successful films like ‘Ek Villain’, ‘ABCD 2’ and ‘Baaghi’. The common factor in all those films was the excellent opening that all the films took, especially at smaller centres where she gained a huge followed because of ‘Aashiqui 2’.
Her success streak is likely to end with ‘Rock On 2’, a film that didn’t appeal to her core fan base.

I like both of em……but Shraddha do have more fan following, no doubts on that.
I like the way she sings and she sang really good in Rock On 2.
All stars have gone through flops and hits…….it is a matter of who stands longer.

Alia is much younger than other actresses and so much talented. She is equally a gem in commercial movies like 2 States as well as niche movies like Highway and Udta Punjab. So natural infront of the camera. It doesnt look like she is actually acting.
Shraddha is also good. I loved her in A2 but she needs to do more audience appealing movies. She is an awesome dancer by the way.
