The theatrical trailers of Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ and Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ (ADHM) are out and if the response to the trailers is anything to go by, then it’s going to be advantage ‘Shivaay’ during Diwali this year – atleast as far as the opening is concerned.
While the trailer of Shivaay was unanimously applauded for its visuals and grandeur, the trailer of ADHM has been criticised for being too confusing and underwhelming.
A quick look at the ‘likes vs dislikes’ ratio on Youtube, makes it pretty clear. Shivaay trailer has 340,068 likes against 12,199 dislikes. ADHM trailer has 39,422 likes against 8,643 dislikes. In other words, more than 97% people people have ‘liked’ the Shivaay trailer, whereas only 82% of people have liked the trailer of ADHM. The difference isn’t huge but 18% dislikes is a big number.

There is no comparison between Adhm and Shivaay trailer. While Shivaay turned out the best trailer of the year, ADHM turned out one of the major disappointment of the year.
If adhm released solo than the impact could be less, but when you are clashing with grand scale Shivaay than big threat is there.
I was never interested in Adhm as Karan johar movies never appeals to me barring Mnik, but the impressive teaser with the brilliant dialogue at the end somehow touched me. After than the Adhm title track which is my favorite song in recent time raised the expectation further. But once bullaiya released the downfall started and after watching trailer I am no more interested in Adhm.
In the other hand ever since Ajay launched the first look way back in 2015 it is one of my most awaited film. The brilliant trailer, two good songs increase expectation more. Without any doubt I will go for Shivaay this diwali.
personally aish is looking smoking hot in the trailer. ……..but in movie she is looking like a seductress or should I say prostitute. ….

Ajay Devgan is the king of Diwali because golmaal 3 and son of sardaar have been blockbusters during Diwali period though SRK won clash in 2012 but SOS collections were decent
adhm trailer feels like I have already seen this film. Total Ranbir type. Gonna pass on this one unless people say its good and prove me wrong!
shivaay is looking something grand cinematic experience with emotional touch.
in music also shivaay gave competition. dharkhast song is melodious really very soft. was listening adhm title track for week after its release. now contionusly listening darkhaast
ADHM NOT IMPRESSED the teaser was good but for some reason this just does not connect w me…ranbir seems life less no emotions, anushka too…aish is stunning but thats it, maybe she will be the saving grace in the movie but overall its lacks a punch
