The theatrical trailers of Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ and Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ (ADHM) are out and if the response to the trailers is anything to go by, then it’s going to be advantage ‘Shivaay’ during Diwali this year – atleast as far as the opening is concerned.
While the trailer of Shivaay was unanimously applauded for its visuals and grandeur, the trailer of ADHM has been criticised for being too confusing and underwhelming.
A quick look at the ‘likes vs dislikes’ ratio on Youtube, makes it pretty clear. Shivaay trailer has 340,068 likes against 12,199 dislikes. ADHM trailer has 39,422 likes against 8,643 dislikes. In other words, more than 97% people people have ‘liked’ the Shivaay trailer, whereas only 82% of people have liked the trailer of ADHM. The difference isn’t huge but 18% dislikes is a big number.

ADHM is for mature audience… there must be a story what you have called confusing !!!… unnecessary dhoom-dhadaam action we have seen a lot and can see in Hollywood movies no special mention for Shivaay’s action which is copied from a lot of Hollywood films, unfortunately not many people watch English movies so Shivaay will get away…
There is no comparison b/w shivaay and ADHM ….shivaay is monster ..

I was expecting srk in the trailer but I saw his back at 1:40 min in the trailer.

1) Production Value is grand and exotic locations: I think ppl forget that Tamasha also shot in grand and exotic location, but that did not help movie and the result was FLOP…
2) Music: I think ppl forget that recently release BBD also have chart-buster music, but that also could not save movie to become FLOP…
3)Ash looks Gorgeous: Again same BBD example in which Kat was looking stunning hot and the same media and Bollywood sites praise her beauty, but what happen at the end…..FLOP…

I want to ask ppl what uniqueness did you find in Ranbir’s acting in this trailer which we have not already seen in his earlier movies…….From his very 1st movie to this movie, he always give same blank expression on his face……
Whether you see in YJHD or BAH or Tamasha or Roy or in this movie same expressions in every movies…….Except Barfi, he did same kind of Rom Com movies with same kind of expressions…..That’s why people call them media made stars…..
The problem is media always hype Kjo and Ranbir’s movies and their acting skill, even if there is nothing new in it and they give same expressions or do over-acting…

And no matter how much media praise these stars it will not work, now people are well aware about these thing and you can see both these actors are struggling in box office…..Now again they can purchase fake award to prove that they are brilliant actors but now they cannot fool people…..

The trailer of Shivaay is much better as compared to ADHM . Shivaay is the best trailer of 2016 . The trailer of ADHM is just mediocre to be honest . The teaser was much better as compared to the trailer . Ranbir is not looking 100 % convincing and it is looking a standard Rom Com . To just compare Shivaay has a sizeable advantage over ADHM till now . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But Yes As an Action Adventure Film’s Trailer Shivaay is Outstanding but little Long.
& I Also like The ADHM Trailer & it A Love Triangle so it is Obvious that They will never Expose Many thing In the Trailer & It is Complicated & Actually they Hide the Real Story & Made us Confuse & If They Show Us a Straight Forward Trailer then What will we see in the Theatre & Most Importantly everyone will agree that Shivaay Trailer Has Long Long Well Choreographed Action Scenes & That is Their Advantage to Make a Good 3 minutes Trailer Which Is Not In Case of ADHM it is a Pure Romantic film so They Had to Put Many Many Many Scenes to make a Trailer……….
Overall Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is crappy flop and fails to impress.
Instead of an intense tale about love and lust, it looks like a typical rom-com and we are tired seeing them again and again. We need a break.
It’s high time Bollywood makers start executing some interesting ideas rather than being predictable.
