A police complaint has been filed against Ajay Devgn for hurting religious sentiments through the poster of his upcoming directorial venture ‘Shivaay’. The complaint is said to have been filed at the Tilak Nagar police station in Delhi.
The complainant says the poster shows the actor climbing Lord Shiva’s figure with shoes on, which hurts the sentiments of the people having faith in Lord Shiva and Hinduism.
Ajay released the first look poster of the film on May 23. The complaint is said to have been filed on Wednesday.

Shiv puran says every particle in this universe is shiv- kankar mein shankar. poster isn’t made for desrepect shiv because Ajay isn’t climbing on shiv’s sculpture but poster shows his effort with frame of shiv.

Do u know Ajay is a worshipper of Lord Shiva? The basic concept of idol worship is remembering God in variety of forms. You see Lord Ganesha idols made of leaves, handicrafts. Some idols are even made of chocolates.
Do u know, there was a contest an year ago in Mumbai for most creative Lord Ganesha idol. The best idol was an eco-friendly chocolate idol which won the best prize. This idol was then ‘dissolved’ (we call it ‘visarjan’) in milk.
This milk was donated to poor, hungry people. By your, the guy who thought of this concept is a ‘sinner’ as he let poor children ‘eat’ a God. But that is not how idol worship works. People want to preserve their heritage but they also want to adapt with changing times. This guy served the poor through a very creative way.
He was rewarded for his creativity. The Shivaay poster symbolically represents Ajay on a mission with the blessings of Lord Shiva. The guy who has filed the complaint is making a mountain of a mole hill to get publicity. But people like u are supporting him without understanding the gravitas of the situation!
