Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn is gearing up to begin the first shooting schedule of his ambitious directorial venture ‘Shivaay’, which goes on floors in Mussoorie next week.
The actor took to Twitter to post a few pictures with his fans and credited them for making him the star that he is today.
“I am what I am coz of all the love from fans, met some today and charged up to start shooting Shivaay next week.” Ajay said.
Ajay will be playing the lead role of ‘Shivaay’, the protector, transformer and destroyer. The film will release in theatres during Diwali next year, the same weekend as Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

He gave his 1st super hit at age 18! 1st National Award before he was 24/25. He was making movies when srk was doing fauji drama series so respect him the way you have been. I am excited as hell for Shivaay . The poster is Mindblowing and i am happy that many people are excited for Shivaay . It is a Costly movie and will have a lot of Action Sequences and High Quality VFX and i am proud of Ajay for doing such a movie and most importantly he is making such a movie . He is taking a huge risk and i am happy he is trying to do something different . 70 % of Shooting will be completed in Bulgaria in the Winter season . Shivaay has a great chance to do 200 CR since it will release on Diwali and AD has a 100 % success ratio on Diwali .
