Soon after celebrating the historic success of Chennai Express, Shahrukh Khan will begin shooting for his next film ‘Happy New Year’.
The first shooting schedule of the commercial entertainer began today. Director Farah Khan published a picture of the ‘mahurat shot’. (picture below)
Deepika Padukone returns as SRK’s lady love in Happy New Year. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Jackie Shroff and Vivaan Shah.
Happy New Year is scheduled to release during the Diwali weekend after Hrithik Roshan’s Shuddhi was postponed to 2015.

To everyone reminding of Jaaneman, SRK starrer Yeh Lamhe Judaai ke grossed 31 lakhs in 2004.
Thus SRK film grossed less than parking collections of RGV ki Aag.

That is the greatness of SRK that he allowed the producers of YLJK to release. None of the actors will allow to release a movie which is supposed to release 10 years back. The fact is he even allowed them to take his new pictures for the poster. Nobody’s movies relases like that coz no actor will allow the producers. You dont know how many movies are still in the dark room coz of the actor’s ego. Trust me Akshay has the most number of movies which is not getting the green light.
