The Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards 2015 was held in Mumbai on Tuesday, 21 April. Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan won an award for his film ‘Happy New Year’.
Like always, Shahrukh entertained the crowd, danced to ‘Indiawaale’ with politician Amar Singh, did his iconic ‘arms-raised’ pose and accepted the award for his performance in ‘Happy New Year’.
Excerpts from SRK’s speech on receiving the award
“The love that you have given me over the years, I don’t think I can give it back or do justice to it through my work. Whenever I receive an award, I feel I don’t deserve it. Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation has been an inspiration for filmmakers for years now and will continue to be so.”

Iconic dance step…. yes its an easy dance step than even the non dancing folk can do- arch your back, titl your neck, spread your arms apart wide n stand very still motionless and expressionless whilst the heroine and 1234 dancers perform to lungi dance…. only our queen can do such an iconic step which has been perfected over 23 boring yrs….!
