Red Chillies Entertainment has announced the release date of Shah Rukh Khan’s second release of 2017, the untitled film directed by Imtiaz Ali, starring Anushka Sharma as the female lead.
It was Salman Khan who announced the date on Twitter. He tweeted “I’m going to tweet at 7pm today, Ek Baar jo maine commitment kar di … too much fun !”
“Shah Rukh Khan ki film aa Rahi hai. Date Maine decide kar di hai. Title tum log decide kardo. Best of luck Anushka Sharma, Imtiaz Ali (Shah Rukh Khan’s film is coming. Date I have decided. You decide the title. Best of luck Anushka Sharma, Imtiaz Ali).”
Alia had also expressed her excitement
“August is tooo far away ya!!!!! Anushka Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan.. Am saving the date immediately.. But Imtiaz what to put in as the title???#CantWait”
That’s SRK’s lineup for 2017, two of the most important days of the year for the country – Republic Day (Raees) and Independence Day weekend (Untitled film directed by Imtiaz Ali).

1st Srk Fan movie shifted from Independent day 2015 and He gave that date to Akshay Brother movie.
Now Akshay shift his Crack movie and Srk take that day for Imtiyaz Ali Next.
The Ring is not a big scale movie so 11th Aug 2017 is good release date.
But 26th January 2017 is not as big release date for a Grand movie like Raees.
Raees deserve Eid,Diwali or Christmas, but unfortunately Raees can’t get a big solo release date….
