Red Chillies Entertainment has announced the release date of Shah Rukh Khan’s second release of 2017, the untitled film directed by Imtiaz Ali, starring Anushka Sharma as the female lead.
It was Salman Khan who announced the date on Twitter. He tweeted “I’m going to tweet at 7pm today, Ek Baar jo maine commitment kar di … too much fun !”
“Shah Rukh Khan ki film aa Rahi hai. Date Maine decide kar di hai. Title tum log decide kardo. Best of luck Anushka Sharma, Imtiaz Ali (Shah Rukh Khan’s film is coming. Date I have decided. You decide the title. Best of luck Anushka Sharma, Imtiaz Ali).”
Alia had also expressed her excitement
“August is tooo far away ya!!!!! Anushka Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan.. Am saving the date immediately.. But Imtiaz what to put in as the title???#CantWait”
That’s SRK’s lineup for 2017, two of the most important days of the year for the country – Republic Day (Raees) and Independence Day weekend (Untitled film directed by Imtiaz Ali).
Imtiaz Ali – Anushka Sharma – Shah Rukh Khan
The way Imtiaz Ali carries his movie being a director, no one does. His style of storytelling is unparallel. For e.g: his very first film Socha Na Tha and the latest one Tamasha (though both the films couldn’t earn enough money, they were critically acclaimed).
Two; the presence of the king of romance himself in the movie. Everyone is looking forward to the collaboration of two great people in this genre.(SRK & Imtiaz).
Three; the superhit pair of SRK and Anushka. They had already done two superhit movies (RNBDJ and JTH) together. So they are quite comfortable with each other and the same will be reflected in the movie which will definitely enhance the chemistry between them.
Releasing movies on both national holidays.. heights of patriotism :)
