The business of Shaandaar is hitting new lows as the Shahid Kapoor starrer has once again crashed on Monday at the box office. The film has been rejected by the audience in every centre in every circuit all across India.
The poor performance of the film is comparable to other big disasters this year like Bombay Velvet and Katti Batti, because those films opened at a much lower level, but sustained better than Shaandaar on Monday.
The last instance of a film opening well, but crashing, was Besharam back in 2013. It took a 21 crore opening and finished with business of less than 60 crore. Shaandaar started at 13 crore because of the holiday last Thursday. The lifetime collections of the film is likely to be in the 43-45 crore range, which is just 3 times the first day business.

Shaandaar has badly crashed at the Box Office . According to me it will be a Disaster . This has been a crap year for Fox Star with MR. X, HAK, Brothers and now Shaandaar . Alia was part of 4 back to back Hits and now she will have a Disaster . She needs to stop doing movies with Dharma because they will waste her talent on the same stupid Rom Coms . If she sticks to Dharma she has to choose different genres so that audience will not get voted watching her in the same kind of movies . SK definitely needs an introspection . After Rajkumar and Haider it was expected that this will be his back to back 3rd Hit but he again got badly damaged . In 2016 he is doing 2 movies Udta Punjab and Rangoon . Both are looking good on paper . This year people have utilized their money smartly which has been shocking but at the same time it will force the producers to invest their money smartly and the directors to focus on the script not only on marketing and packaging . Shaandaar ko laga Shaandaar Jhatka !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some name of these foolish directors are the followings:
1) Rajkumar Gupta (after aamir and NokJ he directs a bad film like ghanchakkar)
2) Nikhil Advani (after Kal ho na ho.. Rest are disasters)
3) Sajid khan (after heyy baby and housefull series then he introduced us to India’s two greatest pathetic trash.
4) Vikram Bhatt-He is ambitious but makes…..
5) Prabhu Deva-loved wanted and rowdy rathore.. But does AJ, SIB qualifies as movies
6)Mr. Bahl-After infinite critisism emraan’s hak somehow managed to recover its cost (of course it was due to medium budget)… But shandaar despite opening big, alia, karan, anurag kashyap. big budget etc it will earn 5-6cr more than hak. If hak would have backed by dharma it should have easily collected around 60cr (with budget of 35 cr).
It’s a SLAP on the overconfident faces of Karan Johar, Vikas Bahl, Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt n above all, fans of Shahid Kapoor.
