Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film ‘Shaandaar’ releases in theatres tomorrow. It’s a national holiday for Dussehra (Vijaya Dashami) which is why the Dharma Productions – Phantom Films’ production, hits cinema halls on Thursday instead of a normal Friday release.
Shahid’s last couple of films have done well at the box office and Alia has quickly climbed the ladder of stardom barely 3 years after the release of her debut film ‘Student Of The Year’. Their on-screen pairing has also generated quite a bit of interest, especially among the youth. The music has done reasonably well too, even though there are no chartbusters. The one other factor that could attract that audiences is the fact that Vikas Bahl is directing his second film after the glorious success of ‘Queen’.
On the other hand, the trailer of ‘Shaandaar’ received a mixed response and the audience doesn’t quite know what the story is all about. Also, Phantom Films has a mixed track record – apart from Queen, very few of their films have performed beyond expectations at the box office.

basically every week indicine change the openning number of movies like bajirao mastani, PRDP, Tamasha etc. and whenever actual figure out they publish nearer figure and says we are accurate bullshit indicine. even movie rating is also shit they give PKPN2 is just 1 it deserve more than that.so grow up indicine team
Shaandar will have a 50cr+ weekend,it will benefit from the holiday,monday collections will determine if it will touch 100cr
