This is the final list of Top Highest Opening Day Collections of 2015. It’s been Salman Khan’s year all the way, as the top two films of the year are Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Those are the only two films this year to take a ‘Bumper’ opening at the box office.
The two Salman films are followed by Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale and Akshay Kumar’s Singh Is Bling. As far as the opening is concerned, Akshay has had a pretty good year too, as three of his films made it to the Top 10.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan & PRDP are the biggest openers of the year. I am damnn sure both will remain the top 2 grossers of the year. No varunwale or baghban 2 can challenge them…
Varunwale has collected only 21cr on opening day, its really poor considering the super successful director & multistarcast…
Some idiots expected record breaking opening day, some of them predicted even more than 60cr mark….LOL.

Hahahaha cool down srk fans we know that u all are disappointed, frustrated, angry , pissed off and what not with the collections of ‘over-hyped wale’ but its ok , its a crap movie and it deserves to be a huge flop but don’t worry it wouldn’t be a flop even in the worst case scenario but be happy with around 170 – 210 crore collections in india and may be 400+ crores worldwide gross and that’s it but don’t expect anything more.
2015 is undoubtedly the year of the ultimate megastar salman khan, 500+ crores net in india & 1000+ crores worldwide gross with 2 movies in a single year! Literally a one man industry! Remove these 2 movies and the whole bollywood industry itself would have been suffering with significant losses.
BB released during pre-eid period , with hardly any extra holidays and with a strong competition from the epic Baahubali came within the touching distance of PK’s domestic gross and had the highest ever overseas collection by a hindi movie in its 1st phase!
Then came PRDP and inspite of being a non-masala & non-commercial pure family movie and with mixed to negative reviews collected more than 210+ crores (official) and over 190+ crores (BOI) and 400+ crores WW (official) and almost 400 crores (BOI) and not to forget that according to BOI it broke the HNY’s manipulated opening day record.
So what more do u want??? 2015 is yet another salman khan’s year and most probably BB & PRDP would finish as the top 2 highest grossing movies of this year and the list for 2015 should be
1. BB
2. PRDP (dilwale may take the 2nd spot but the chances are very less)
3. Dilwale (unless something goes very wrong PRDP will be in the 3rd position)
