Salman Khan remembers physically disabled fan after 21 years!

Salman Khan is often called as a man with a golden heart, to the extent that it now sounds a little cliched. But the superstar time and again proves that he truly has a special place in his heart for those less-fortunate amongst us.

Salman’s friend Chhaya Momaya says “Paras Mehta, who comes from a prominent jewellery family in Malabar Hill, has always been a major Salman fan. The late film distributor Dinesh Gandhi and a close family friend of Mehtas told Salman about him. When Salman got to know of it, he went all the way to Malabar Hill to meet his fan. That was over two decades ago”

Paras Mehta is a 42-year-old Salman fan who is physically disabled and mentally challenged. But even with his disability, Paras ensures that he watches every Salman Khan film and also expresses his desire to meet the star in person quite often.

Just before Arpita’s wedding, Chhaya happened to tell Salman of Paras’ desire to meet him again. The actor instantly recalled him and said he would personally go to meet him after his sister’s wedding.

Says Chhaya “I was taken aback when Salman’s response was ‘Are you talking about Paras?’ In fact, Salman mentioned that four days ago, he had thought about Paras and was wondering what happened to him. How amazing it is that he remembered a fan he had met 21 years ago, given that he meets hundreds of people everyday”
