Coming out with a unique way to promote his production venture ‘Hero’, which released on Friday, superstar Salman Khan gave a shout out to his fans to send in their tickets after watching ‘Hero’, which he will sign personally.
The ‘Dabangg’ actor took to Twitter to share that he will be signing hundred movie tickets.
“Watch ‘Hero’. Send me your ticket. I will sign 100 tickets. One of them could be yours. Send your ticket(s) to P.O. Box 9808 Bandra (w) post office, Mumbai 4000050. And mention your name, address and twitter handle,” Salman tweeted on Friday.
Directed by Nikhil Advani, ‘Hero’ is a remake of Subhash Ghai- directed 1983 film of the same name. The film introduces two new talents to Hindi filmdom– Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya and Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj.
Salman also noted that it is his way to take his admirers back to the past and turn to the ‘original way’.
“This is the original way to mail. This is how it was before e-mail and messaging and all.. and if you don’t know where the post office is, toh ask your mom” Salman said.

hero will not be counted as salman’s hit/flop. So his promotions is not for himself. Saksham,salman does very little promotions for his big blockbusters. Srk does too much promotions for his own film.
Hero is made less than 25 cr. 20cr is already Recovered from satellite+music. In worst case hero will earn 20cr distributor shares. That’s means 10cr profit. Also Bhai earns more than 150cr per year
Shetty has planned a similar strategy for Varunwale this Christmas by offering 100 lucky fans a chance to win a signed lungi each by a superstar after they buy a ticket for the Varun Kriti starrer…!

@saksham. You don’t have to think of other fans feeling. You are very correct. Those names you mentioned Aamir Ajay Akshay Hritik can’t do such thing. Aamir and Ajay are power talents they can predict which movie will work which won’t. What I loved pre-drishyam was Ajay came out and said the public should not expect alot. From his looks yes he looked more happier and relaxed. Akshay kumar the same watch him when he promotes his movies. Normally he dosent say anything rather it’s the female actress that does the talking. Hritik we all know about our dearie. He dosent except on rare incidents. It’s a shame. You as a superstar should not promise sighning autographs of your fans with movie tickets During release of the movie. I expected Aditya pancholi to be making that move that said he has to be the producer of the movie. Salman knows that what the audience demand. He just don’t want to be called a failed producer that’s just the fact.
Srk fans, before barking you should know it is not a Salman starrer movie. He is doing it for sake of debutant leads to get a Hit at least which will help them get more offers !!!!! Salman will never do such things if it is own movie !!!!!!! Srk did it for his own sake n selfish. Salman is selfless !!!!!!!

On the day ouatimd released, chennai ticket prices were halfed so people would not watch them akshay starrer.
And those saying it is forcing bhai fans to watch the movie, you can just ask one of your friends who watched the film if you can have his ticket, so your logic makes no sense and is worse than bhojpuri logic.

Well he wants the newbies to succeed, so he’s doing everything he can to help them.But he barely promotes his own movies and they still become blockbusters. He has complete faith in his movies unlike some small stars.

Yes he is doing it to introduce talent less actors in the industry.If he would have doing it for some talented person then it was ok but why to do these things for garbage.If you are his genuine fan you should ask him to promote such useless guys and stop making films to introduce and please other actors and their sons/daughters.If he is investing money then he should do it on good things.

SKF has produced three movies.Ist one was with Katrina sister( i thinkwhich isnt exactly bollywood movie,dont have much idea about it),2nd is hero.In both these movies he put merit aside and introduce those who dont have talent but contacts in industry.3rd is BB.And both BB and Hero are promoted much more than his regular movies.They added extra song in BB for promotional purpose.And they started it with teaser,trailer,songs,promotional song,dialogues promos and all that stuff.And about HERO we all know ,he is still promoting it.Apna paisa ae tou salman b selfish ban jata ha agar promotion karne ko ap selfishness kaho tou

If that is the case, then why Salman never helped Ayushmann, Varun, Siddharth, Tiger, etc etc.
Main reason is that Salman produced this movie (so did SRK in CE), hence he followed this cheap promotional strategy .
