Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has become only the second actor in the history of Indian Cinema, to take his movie, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, into the 300 crore club.
Like Rajkumar Hirani, who directed the first ‘300 crore’ blockbuster, director Kabir Khan too deserves a major share of credit for directing a film that connected with both the masses and classes of the country.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan is still going strong at the domestic box office, even though Ajay Devgn’s latest release ‘Drishyam’ is also doing well.
The film has proved to be lucky for Salman Khan. Bajrangi Bhaijaan crossed the 200 crore mark on the day when his last Eid release ‘KICK’ celebrated its 1st anniversary. Now, the film has joined the ‘300 crore club’ exactly 21 years after the release of Sooraj Barjatya’s Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, which remains one of the biggest blockbusters in the history of Indian Cinema.

This is a Salman khan film
@REW 1 : Nothing against Aamir but D3 is nowhere near Aamir’s standards. Aamir means content n he never disaapoints except D3 even some of his fans agree to it. Stardom is altogether different thing. We love n support Aamir too !!!!!!! Thanks
There are megastars who keep calm and focus on their work and have real fan following and rule box office in true sense. And there are some stars who overhype themselves, buy footage from media, make PR, keep getting in to lime light, give crap and rubbish stereotype movies, make rumors of them having bla bla bla some mythological number of fans but are 0 in stardom and always legs behind when it comes to box office. Aamir and Salman belong to the first category and i don’t even need to mention whom I am referring to for the second category.
Crossing 300 crores will always remain dream for shahrukh. He doesnt really have any fan following. It’s all rubbish rumors that he has such fan following. It’s actually Aamir khan who has largest fan base followed by Salman khan. And only aamir and Salman were first 2 superstars to enter 100 crores clubs and now they are the first 2 superstars in 300 crores club. Shahrukh is nowhere close to them.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan Lifetime Collection 322-330cr and Worldwide 599cr
Bajrangi Bhaijaan Lifetime collection 315cr nett
@kkm,ROFL.even salman entered 200cr club after KING KHAN even at his peak period that all knew.so what’s so shame for us if WE will enter 300cr club today or tomorrow.WE will definitely enter soon but before that WE AND OUR STAR are CONCENTRATE OF PERFORMANCE ORIENTED MOVIE that you amir fans always blabbering about.and IT’LL be GREAT WATCH NEXT YEAR when KING KHAN’S PERFORMANCE will overshadowed those 2rs performance of your stars and WE’LL emerge as REAL WINNER at that TIME.WE will make you ashamed from the the way of REPUTATION.that’ll be enough time make you cry like you had been crying from 1992.and when PERFORMANCE ROARS then BO will ROAR too automatically so only the thing you can do is to wait until THAT TIME.just one release HNY took all OUR REPUTATION,similarly 2 exact opposite REPUTED MOVIE BRING KING KHAN TO HIS ORIGINAL FORM.
don’t think LION already beces dead by seeing HIM at HIS SLEEPING CONDITION,WAIT TILL LION AWAKE WILL AWAKE,then you’ll see your decade struggler’s real position and condition,ROFL.
@sss keep dreaming. Dreaming is not bad. But making it in reality is not a cup of tea. Action speaks louder than words.
@Hrithik I never expected this from you. If D3 was nowhere close to aamir’s standards then neither bodyguard, ready and kick were good movies of salman. You also should accept that they were crap movies. BTW I am also Salman khan supporter and like him.
@REW1 : I am not taking anything away from Aamir. Salman is known to turn bad movies (script wise) into Blockbusters. You may compare 3 Idiots vs PK vs D3 you will get the answer. I am not saying D3 was really bad but it was below Aamir’s standards. To be honest I didn’t like Ready & Dabangg2. May be you like D3 as any Aamir movie but majority of audience were surprised that how Aamir did it !!!!!!
Mark my words there is always the word ‘Next’ in Bollywood for eg SRK is the next Amitabh bachhan Amir is next dilip kumar
But The man called SALMAN KHAN can never be matched in any levels for his allround ability He is Unique in Bollywood history
His adorable looks just make me mad in this age too
there was no Salman khan in the past and in the future too nobody will match his stardom There is one and only @Bhai
Salman khan
@hrithik chill. I never said i liked dhoom 3. When did I say that? But undoubtedly aamir’s acting was phenomenal and it made many fans watch it. Aamir has billions of fans worldwide and so aamir’s star power was the sole reason for the ATBB success of dhoom 3 just like Salman. If dhoom 3 had srk or akshay or even hrithik who is bigger than both srk and akshay, then dhoom 3 would have been flop. Because they don’t have the star power like Samir and Salman. I was basically replying to your mate @Anand who was bashing aamir here for no reason. But you can’t deny that dhoom 3 was still better compared to torturous crap Con 2 which was not only illogical mindless action movie but the overactor misfit chota don srk’s overacting ruined it even more. So dhoom 3 was still far better than Con 2.
