The film will be up against Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro, a big-budget film that’s also scheduled to release in theatres on August 12.
Check out the new poster – how good is Akshay looking?! After two successful films this year, will Rustom complete a hattrick for the superstar?

There are some people who call their country intolerant and make other people shame too. The country which gave everything to them even more than what they actually deserved.
There are some people who abuses the raped victims, who killed the innocent people, who harrased females, who killed animals for their fun, who mocked the raped victims and don’t feel shame on themselves and totally fake with character, who are even not able to digest the little time given fame and glory…
But, In the same crowd there are some people who love their country more than everything, who give a damn whenever somebody say wrong about the
country, who don’t care about the box office collections, Who are loyal and keep themselves far from cheap controversies and publicity, who are hardworking and dedicated towards their jobs and
for their fans who want to watch their idols in different avatars, who help the needy and drought affected poor farmers and don’t show to anybody for publicity, who have already found the meaning of their lives… And, One of them becomes AKSHAY KUMAR…
LONG LIVE AKKI BHAI, LOVE YOU AKKI BHAI…
This industry never had, is never having, will be never
having another AKSHAY KUMAR again…
The most versatile actor ever the Indian Film Industry produced…
One and only…

7 Times Akshay Kumar Proved That He Is The Most Humble & Grounded Bollywood Actor…
A popular superstar and every director wants to rope him. He is one of the most hard-working stars. Remember when his bodyguard punched his fan and he took the charge and personally apologized? This is just one small incident that makes him really special. His fans love him and respect him. Here are 7 facts about Bollywood’s ‘Khiladi’ Kumar that make him one of the most grounded stars of
Bollywood. Read on…
1. Akshay Kumar does his own stunts but
he has made a pact with his producers to
pay the stuntmen the exact amount they
would have got if they had done the stunts. And some reports claim that now
he is also working towards getting insurance for the stuntmen.
2. To help the drought-hit farmers in
Maharashtra, he gave a financial aid of Rs. 90 lakh to help 180 families of the farmers who had committed suicide. He also made a contribution of 50 lakh to Salman’s charitable trust Being Human. He also donated Rs 1 crore to Chennai’s flood relief.
3. Not many know that he also launched a martial arts school to provide self-defence training to women for free in Mumbai and has trained 4000 women!
4. During the shoot of Khatron Ke Khiladi,
one of the participants was leaving the
show because he under-performed. When Akshay asked him what he would have done with the winning amount, the
participant said, “I will use it for my
father’s cancer operation”. Akshay didn’t just call him to console, he even gave him
a Rs. 25 lakhs cheque.
5. Akshay sang and shot a music video of
the Punjabi devotional song, Nirgun Raakh Liya and whatever profit he made, he donated to the victims of the train
bombings of Mumbai on July 11, 2006.
6. Akshay slashed his endorsement fee for a brand that incurred losses because of drought! Akshay was earning close to Rs 10 crore to endorse the brand but he cut down this amount by almost half.
7. During promotions of his film
Entertainment, Akshay attended an event
organised by Youth Organization in
Defence of Animals (YODA). Akshay
bought a Burberry jacket from the
exhibition for Rs. 1,00,000 and paid Rs.
3,60,000 for the same, donating the entire
amount to YODA.
THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS WHICH CAN BE CONSIDERED RATHER THAN THE TERM COLLECTIONS…!!!
I m a big fan of akshay kumar.
akkianns I want to change my name here give me a fantastic name.
I used many names like.. Choudhary BL ( my real name)… super star akshay kumar, crap khans….many…more….
please akkians suggeste me a better name.
it shout be akshay related….be it his movie name. or his film name. .
Traitor………….The words which is using by PR team is unique. This if first time when classy movie trailer and promotion began just before month of its release……The Buzz will definitely help rustum for becomes super-hit.
superb
Third Hit for Akshay this year
now getting straight to the facts.. its a foregone conclusion that MJ will be a flop going by its trailer n the hugely negative response it got from trade n audience.. rustom is definitely looking way better than MJ n the response has been positive as for now.. now coming to rustom positive wom will get it somewhere close to airlift which for me would be a great achievement.. plz don’t over expect.. its not a festive period nor it is a commercial movie.. a hit tag would be brilliant.. akki fans just over predict his movies.. they throw words like blockbuster n atbb for any movies of his.. be realistic given the genre, the release period n akki’s stardom..
Okay,I’ll be frank here, this is the best poster I’ve seen in a long time.No offense to any other fan base or film, but the poster is intriguing, if suits the tone of the Km Nanawati case (on which the film is based) completely.Simply outstanding. Eagerly awaiting Rustom#Independenceday2016 !
Faadu
@indicine; someone is misusing @Arjun Youngistaan fan’s account!
my gut feeling says average to above average verdict for rustom n flop for MJ
This year belongs to akshay kumar he is going to get hattrick of 3rd consecutive 100 crores can’t wait for trailer.
Choudhary BL, The name is fame here, Don’t keep changing names here, We have already some morons who keep changing their names to make fools others here but, In fact they are just making fools themselves and losing their identity…
Ghar walo ne naam Kamal rakha tha aur yaha Kamla ban kae ghum rahi hai…
Hahaha, Such people do really exist here…
Hrithik, His Fans, The Makers Of Mohenjo Daro have got loose motions now…!!!
Tabhi Hrithik And The Film Makers Requested Akki and team to postpone Rustom few months back…
RIP Mohenjo Daro, Galat Panga Le Liya Tune Apne Baap Se…
It’s good to see that few people are supporting both films hopefully both movies turns out to be clean hits akshay and hrithik both are hard working actors and deserves to be rewarded for their hard work
till now rustom have exceeded expectations
all posters are intriguing.
