Actor Ronit Roy, who injured himself while shooting an action sequence for his film ‘Kaabil’, underwent a surgery to remove nine glass pieces that were lodged deep inside his shoulder and arm.
The actor shared a photograph of the glass pieces and said “Surgery went well! Nine pieces of glass embedded in my arm removed! Thank you for your love and good wishes.”

Sources say, Ronit delayed the surgery by more than 24 hours so that he could complete the shoot.
Director Sanjay Gupta tweeted ”Dedication to work. Ronit Roy severely hurt his arm in an action sequence in ‘Kaabil’ and delayed surgery by 24 hours to complete the shoot.”
Produced by Rakesh Roshan, ‘Kaabil’ releases in theatres on January 26 2017. The film stars Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam in the lead.

Ronit Roy is a terrific actor and in this incident he has taken dedication to a different level . He has given amazing performances in Udaan, Boss, Ugly and 2 States . Adalat was one of my favourite shows when it used to come on Sony TV . He has a great voice and his diction in Hindi is just impeccable . It will be a pleasure to see Hrithik and Ronit one on one in Kaabil . I hope he gets well soon . Kaabil is expected to have amazing action sequences and this will be something to watch out for . Come on Sanjay Sir this is the best time to do something different and deliver your best movie .
