Karan Johar, Rohit Shetty and Subhash Ghai are coming together to remake one of the most popular film of the late 80s Ram Lakhan starring Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff.
The star cast is yet to be finalised. The film would only go on floors after Rohit Shetty completes his film with Shahrukh Khan. The Ram Lakhan remake is scheduled to release in 2016.

Ranbir Kapoor has been confirmed to play ‘Lakhan’. Since Rohit is directing it, do not be surprised if Ajay plays ‘Ram’.

@Navin i completely agree with u but they have already decided that they will make remake of this classic movie and released poster also so i think it will be better that top actors acts in this movie instead of newcomers and also i have not seen AAA on big screen as i was maybe just in middle school at that time so i want to see Salman and Aamir together on big screen whatever may be that movie.

On a serious note, No regaining Khan would like to play Ram, coz it is not a meaty role like Lakkhan. Ram Lakkhan is all about Lakkhan, Ram is hardly there. When Ram Lakkhan released Anil kapoor took all the credit, Jackie shroff aka Ram were hardly there. I dont think srk aamir or salman will like to play Ram and for Lakkhan they are too big. If srk/salman play Lakkhan they who will be Ram ? There is no other actor in BW to play Ram who looks like their older brother.
Anyhow, my presonal favourite Ajay Devgn as Ram and Ranbir as Lakkhan else Akshay is ram and ranveer is lakkhan.
