Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were stopped on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela. The cast and crew were shooting for the film near a lake in Udaipur.
Ram Leela is based on Shakespeare’s love story Romeo and Juliet. It also features supporting actors like Richa Chadda, Abhimanyu Shekhar Singh, Shweta Salve and Barkha Bisht Sengupta.
Kareena Kapoor was Bhansali’s first choice to play the character of Leela, which eventually went to Deepika Padukone. The first look poster was released about a week ago and had Deepika sporting a lehenga, which supposedly weighs more than 30 kilograms.
Ram Leela will release in theatres on 29 November 2013.
