There has been tremendous speculation over the release date of Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees. The trailer, which was cut a couple of months ago, was shown to select exhibitors too.
However, the makers do not yet have a release date and it’s not coming out with this week’s release ‘Dear Zindagi’ which features SRK in an important role.
“It’s not coming out with Dear Zindagi for sure. I read somewhere about this news and no, it’s not true at all” Shah Rukh said, rubbishing media reports of the trailer coming out this month.
The actor said, he doesn’t know the date yet, but the trailer should be out sometime in December.
“I don’t know the exact date. Hopefully, it should release sometime in December… It’s ready, edited and censored. We are just trying to formulate a plan to market it. There’s a way we want to launch it” Shah Rukh said.
There is talk within the industry that the Raees trailer is likely to be attached to the prints of Yash Raj Films’ Befikre.
Raees is scheduled to hit theatres on January 26 2017. The teaser of the film was released during Eid last year.
If its comes solo then it ll do good business else flop with the clash given the budget of the movie is HUGE.!!

This is a perfect example of kal dekhengey kal dekhengey sombari attitude. They already messed up release date and doing same with trailer. It has already lost the steam and buzz generated by teaser and they want to kill it further.
Why is Miyaan bhai so scared and calculative ?? If your movie is good and well made then you need to worry whether trailer comes a month ago or two.
No Matter when they release the trailer it will be one of the best movie of 2017 . when it comes on negative role SRK nailed it .

Finally the wait is going to over.. Feeling really very very happy & more than excited.. The much awaited trailer is coming.. Bdw good decision by the makers to release the trailer in December in stead of Nov… I guess the trailer will be attached with Befikre.. Raees is the most awaited movie of my life…

srk is such a genius..he has business mind..he use the words..We are just trying to formulate a plan to market it. he is not like a normal producer that just release the trailer..he will release the trailer at correct time and going to get some profit too…

They probably wanted a wider release to attack the trailer with. Dear Zindagi won’t get a big release, so maybe Befikre makes sense, but it could be Dangal too, in case they decide to postpone the movie.
Not interested will be a flop anyway.
