The phase right after the super-success of ‘Raaz 3’ in September 2012 was expected to be the best for Emraan Hashmi. The actor was trying to make a conscious change to work on films that aren’t just driven by music and erotica, but those that ride on content and bigger banners.
Unfortunately, the last 4 years have been disastrous for the actor. 2013’s Ek Thi Daayan is the only film that got close to recovering costs, all other films haven’t come close and no film has even crossed the 40 crore mark.
The actor has signed a big film ‘Baadshaho’ where he will be teaming up with Ajay Devgn and his ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’ director Milan Luthria. But with the film featuring a big star like Ajay, it remains to be seen how much credit Emraan gets, if ‘Baadshaho’ succeeds at the box office. He also has ‘Captain Nawab’ directed by Tony D’Souza in 2017.
Until then, the options for Emraan will be limited as everything that he has tried in the last 3-4 years has failed. His move away from the Bhatt camp didn’t work and his return has coincided with the worst ever phase for ’Vishesh Films’.

He built his image on doing bhatt camp films (sex and horror) so when he stopped them the hits alsp stopped.
Another reason is poor script choices.

Ajay’s only solo or as main lead hit in 21st century is Son of sardar without rohit shetty. Rajneeti, bhoot, ouatim all were multistarers or where he was not Alone main lead. Any Main lead hit movie apart from SOS without shetty ? ?? Stardom of legend ajay.
Obviously he will get credit if shivay flopped, both will come on same level. Badshaho will give them their much needed HIT!

He is one of those responsible for the deterioration of Hindi Film Industry with the Bhatts and he’s paying the price… He’s passé now as most of the new crop of actors and non-actors are kissing and titillating on screen under the misguidance of new crop of directors and non-directors…
Now he’s gone, Of course he’s an average actor and his presence may work for multi starer films, that’s enough for him…

Emraan and Shahrukh’s films are failing at the box office but that doesn’t matter. They will always be stars. Their fans should not be worried.

Raaz 3 became a Superhit in 2012 and RR is a flop in 2016 so Emraan has completed a circle of 4 years without any success . Baadshaho is looking good because of Ajay and Milan Combo and Emraan might get success for his performance . It is looking almost impossible for Emraan to make a comeback as a lead Hero but if Akshay can make a comeback after 14 back to back failures than Emraan can also do it too . This has been a terrible year for Sequels except H3 . The last 4 years have been terrible for Emraan because of his consistent failures and also Ayaan diagnosed with Cancer . I hope Emraan makes a solid comeback as he is a good actor but his script sense is getting terrible day by day and with every film he is getting down and down . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All bhatt’s were crap so as their crappie horror movies, Only good music won’t make any movie successful and nowadays even music for his movies wasn’t that great, Either he should have to change his ‘Serial Kisser’ image or should focus on better scripts. promotional strategies for Bhatt’s was always Disastrous. So he should leave them now, They are not helping him anyway so why to waste your precious time by doing movies with them, Hope Baadshaho will change his fortune !

During raaz3 emraans stardom was similar to d likes of varun arjun sid ranveer. A bright future was awaiting him but then he turned arrogant. Insulted trolled hindi films in several interviews,called ashwariya a ‘PLASTIC’ & Barfi overrated. Today his career as a ‘hero’ is literally finished. He has not only given 9 crap flops but youngistaan stars hv all gone way past him. His comeback as a star seems impossible bt still can get success as a 2nd lead or supporting role actor. Bhatts are not catching up with changes, they still stuck in old formula of horror + erotic thrillers. Raaz Reboot was an awful movie n Emraan had just 30 minutes of screen presence in it. Emraan as solo star is gone, he can be very good supporting actor but not solo like Saif & John !!!!!!

Did you see the craze around ajay on indor when he lauched the shivaay trailer? It was more than akki’s craze. So after salman ajay is the 2nd most popular actor in masses.
