Ra One on TV (Star Gold)

Been waiting for the Ra One Television premiere? Here’s some good news.

Shahrukh Khan’s Ra One, one of the costliest films ever made in Bollywood, will be premiered on Star Gold at 8PM on 21st January 2012.

With millions  spent lavishly  on the visual effects, the superhero film promises to be a visual treat in High Definition (for those who get Star Gold HD).

Ra One, directed by Anubhav Sinha, stars Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Shahana Goswami.

On release, the opened to a mixed response from both the critics and audience. But banking on Shahrukh Khan’s star-power, Ra One raked in Rs 249 crores worldwide. In India, the film was the 3rd biggest grosser of the year (after Bodyguard and Ready) with Rs 115 crores nett collections.
