Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 has collected Rs 6.8 crore on its opening day at the box office, exceeding all trade expectations on Day 1. The film has performed very well in North India.
Comparing the opening day collections of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 to a few other major film releases this year, the film without much of a face value has beaten much bigger films like Drishyam, Jazbaa, Piku, Bombay Velvet, Katti Batti, Shamitabh, Baahubali (Hindi), Mr X, Hamaari Adhuri Kahani and several other films with costs of more than double of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2.

Drishyam story were meant for targeted audience and its good pre release he comfortably aired it out that you should not expect any big opening. Shocking too see akki fans having guts to attack the best imdb movie rating so far where his role was appreciated all around with a repeated version with 3 languages done already and non youth interested movie but still rose to almost 80 crs despite @indicine mentioning BB dominance. While akki with 4 movies can’t exceed abcd2.! So who is real who is fake?
