Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 has collected Rs 6.8 crore on its opening day at the box office, exceeding all trade expectations on Day 1. The film has performed very well in North India.
Comparing the opening day collections of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 to a few other major film releases this year, the film without much of a face value has beaten much bigger films like Drishyam, Jazbaa, Piku, Bombay Velvet, Katti Batti, Shamitabh, Baahubali (Hindi), Mr X, Hamaari Adhuri Kahani and several other films with costs of more than double of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2.

It has collected more than double of what you predicted… I knew that all frustrated aashiqs were waiting for this movie….
Now I hope people get to know the effect of SEQUEL films..That’s why ABCD 2 opened so well.That was’nt coz of Varun Dhawan.And suddenly foolish people started overrating Varun so much that he is a better crowd puller than Akki.
His normal films will start at around 8-9crs only,even after superhit music as in case of Badlapur,MTH,HSKD.
And Akki films get an opening of 13-14crs without any popular actress and average music.Don’t know when was the last time an Akki movie had a chartbuster album.

Hahaha kkpk inacuuracy record broken by pkpn2. !!! 1 star u gave to this superb film. I hc watched and it is one of the best sequels ever made. 3.25-3.5 stars from me. Must watch. Big hit for sure.

Are they even 10% popular that Mr Gobar? So called superstar Flopshay 4 movies no single clean hit? Just go and retire old man. Only counting on Aamir Salman Shah Rukh Ajay Hritik for huge turnovers collections for their movies. Betting with Akshay movie is the last thing any sensible Bollywood fan can do now because he keeps on failing n failing us! Simple 100 crs in 4 trials is crazyness and genuine sign of a vanishing superstar whose game should be over after Hritik slams rustum.

I have to say Indicine you are badly trolled . This is your 2nd biggest error in the last 3 weeks . You underestimated KKPK and it surprised everybody be it audiences, Producers and Trade . But how can you underestimate PKP 2 ? PKP was a sleeper hit of 2011 . It has gained Cult Status over the number of years . My Brother saw PKP 2 he said the first one was better but he also said this is an entertaining movie . Recall Value is a huge thing which cannot be underestimated . WB did not had Akki but it has a created a huge impact on audiences minds . ABCD was a Semi Hit in 2013 but people loved the concept and so ABCD 2 got a thunderous opening . I hope from now onwards you will up your game . The fact is most of the times you have been spot on but now you have to pull up your sucks . These are the last 2 Months of 2015 with movies coming like Shaandaar, PRDP, Tamasha, Hate Story 2, Wazir, BM and Dilwale . I have not seen PKP 2 and i don’t think i will watch . But i am happy if this movie becomes a Huge Hit . Kartik Tiwari is a talented actor . Nushrat Bharucha is also very beautiful and bubbly . But it has only one week before Shaandaar strikes .
