Bollywood actress Ileana D’Cruz, who has featured in Hindi films like ‘Barfi’, ‘Phata Poster Nikhla Hero’, ‘Main Tera Hero’ and ‘Happy Ending’, has said that she’s proud of being a part of her upcoming film ‘Rustom’ where she has been cast opposite Akshay Kumar.
Ileana also said that the film is almost entirely fictional and the audience will be very involved in the proceedings.
“The film we have done is fictional…there is a lot of fiction involved. ‘Rustom’ is a very intense movie. It’s vintage no doubt…I hope people walk in and get immersed in the story. I am quite proud of (doing) this movie” Ileana said.
Asked about the trend of ‘biopics’ in Bollywood, Ileana said it’s a coincidence that so many films are releasing back to back.
“I think it is maybe a coincidence because I know there are so many films actually have been in the making for a while or been talked about for a while…There are so many coincidences that so many biopics are releasing on the same time”
‘Rustom’ is scheduled to hit screens on the same day as Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro.
@Nipun Dabba Brain, kites despite being an average movie did only 42 crores…if mohanjro turned out to be like drona or himmatwala…lifetime – 80 crores nd even in that 80 crores, big budget nd more screens will be most helpful :-P not hrithik star power..As we have seen how kites dropped from Monday.

1) Hrithik’s movies are released after a gap of 1 or 2 years…but chakki movies are released every 2/3 months… chakki has 5/6 movies every year…and all of them fail at the boxoffice except 1 or 2…So audience will watch Hrithik’s magnum opus as it come after 2 years of gap.
2) Hrithiks name guarantees that his movie must be class whereas chakkis name guarantees that his movies must be crappy…
3) Mohenjodaro has best actor of India, biggest production in India, best director of india and one of the best music producer in the world…Rest assured it will be the biggest and grandest movie of 2016..
Movies such as Mohenjodaro come once in a lifetime so I think audience has already made their mind that they will watch Mohejodaro in august….

As a neutral audience I would prefer Hrithik’s movies as Akshay has had 9-10 releases in last 2 years and Hrithik will have only 1 since Bang Bang. Also Akshay’s movie will surely be telecasted in 2-3 moths and people can watch it at home as well. And MJ would be grand something very big. Still hope when posters and trailer of MJ release Rustom makers leave their Ego aside and movie the release to gandhi Jayanti weekend.
