The theatrical trailer of Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor in the lead, is out.
The film marks the reunion of Salman with his favourite director Sooraj Barjatya, who has directed the superstar in all time grossers like ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’ and ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’.
For the 15th time in his career, Salman will be essaying a character named ‘Prem’. In all films that Barjatya has directed, the character of the male protagonist has been named ‘Prem’.

Well this dsnt seem a all typical rajshri film.. yes the basics seem all rajshri but it also has action n seems the bad is real bad n not a sanskari bad like the 90s.. n thats gud!!.. its grand, musical, pretty n romance like bhansali’s hddcs!! N a rajshri!!.. if that dsnt strike a chord then no such genre movie can.. as a bollywood moviebuff n not sum stupid blind fan of a particular star, this trailer dsnt disappoint 1 bit , infact the glimpses of aloknath type sanskari visuals that came b4 the trailer release have gone mostly!! N thats a positive!! Thumbs up!! Record breaking or not its gonna b a blockbuster 4 sure!!

Because of my office schedule, could able to watch earlier prdp trailer, and reading the comments section here, I thought the trailer would be so so, but I found it very impressive, it’s a typical Rajshri movie, lavish set,family theme and fantastic title track. I think PRDP track will be popular in coming days, Salman has family audience in big number and people come to theatres in big numbers in weekend. Rest depend on content. In 2011 ready was released which also about family reunion and that movie collected 120cr, despite being mixed critic reviews. Reason family audience love the theme and throne to big numbers. Ready collected almost triple in lifetime compare to its weekend business.

I am 100% sure it’s going to be a beautiful family movie. Bollywood stopped making family movies, i don’t know why they make movies with item song action etc. glad to see a family entertainment coming

Ohh my God. What was that? One of the most crappiest trailers of recent times. Folks, do you need me to tell its another “Mai Prem Ki Diwani Hu” in making? First of all, nothing looks promising in the trailer. Sonam looks expressionless as always, but the biggest let down is the non-actor himself. At most of places, I feel even Tushar Kapoor would have acted better than him.
Why SRK why, why didn’t you release your fan this diwali and allowed this non-actor to ruin our diwali? Even if Akshay would have postponed his Singh is Bling to Diwali, I would have been Happy. But I don’t know how people will bear this severe torture this diwali :(
Why too much of screen space was given to this non-actor when story is all about the marital life of Sonam and Niel where this Budha dadaji sneaked in to destroy their happiness? Not a smart move by Barjatyas..
