Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has recorded the third highest first weekend collections. The film has surpassed the first 3-day business of Salman Khan’s last release ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, even though it had one less holiday.
The Hindi version of PRDP has collected Rs 101.47 crore in 3 days and the Telugu / Tamil version has contributed around 2.75 crore to the total.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is only behind the weekend business of Dhoom 3 and Happy New Year. Dhoom 3 was the third film in the industry’s most successful franchise and Happy New Year had two full holidays (Diwali and Sunday).

I went through various articles and nowhere it was mentioned that HNY is releasing on 5000 screens. Instead they have said that it’s eying for 5000 screens including all versions.
