Like we mentioned in our box office report last evening, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was steady on its 6th day at the box office. The film has added Rs 12 crore on Tuesday. The total collections in India now stands at Rs 155.43 crore.
The first week business will be around the 165-166 crore mark and the 8-day business is likely to be in the 175 crore range.
PRDP has no competition from Hindi films this weekend, but a Hollywood biggie ’Spectre’ is getting a massive release at multiplexes. The James Bond movie, which is also releasing in Hindi, is likely to affect the multiplex business of PRDP.
Salman’s 2nd highest grosser is Kick, which collected Rs 233 crore during Eid last year. Can Prem Ratan Dhan Payo surpass the collections of Kick, or will it finish as Salman’s 3rd highest grosser – is something that remains to be seen.

The early trends suggest that Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has a similar start on Wednesday.Morning Shows Report:Salman Khan starrer PRDP has a good occupancy in the morning shows. The multiplexes and single screens both weresame as yesterday. The overall occupancywas ranging from 20-25% which is good. Some big film released this year could not manage this occupancy even on their opening day.Though multiplexes are low but they havesustained well after Monday. The same is the case with North where it almost crashed on Monday (except UP) but recovered well after that. It is doing very good business in interiors. And if the reports from interiors are also as good asyesterday, then PRDP Wednesday collection can be very close to yesterday.
