Housefull 3 has shown the highest growth for a ‘Post IPL’ release since Raajneeti in 2010. But that’s only when compared to Kangana Ranaut’s Tanu Weds Manu Returns last year – which opened very well on 2200 screens.
Ranbir – Deepika’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani remains the biggest ‘Post IPL’ opener, followed by Housefull 3. Akshay’s 4-year-old film Rowdy Rathore is at No 3, followed by Salman’s Ready which released exactly 5 years ago.

People around the world knows SRK and love his movies, and what percentage of people know what YRF and Dharma are? And your akki couldn’t work with those banners simply because he wasn’t good enough. YRF and Dharma needed the best actor and it was SRK. SRK has given the best films of all time because of this collaboration, he is not a trash deliverer like akki. And for your information, he hasn’t let his fans down by FAN, contrarily he has made us proud proving that only he can act better than himself. So cut the nonsense.

This is the first Akki film after long that has disappointed me. This was terrible. I loved its entertainment but this was downright rubbish. I am sad as an Akki fan to see this crapfest
@Rustom Par bhai..even to work with top production houses for more than two decades you need to consistently deliver successful movies and need to be a good actor.
Why Yrf decided to cast Akki in Tashan only in 2008(Akki only had a cameo in dtph).Because he was a bankable and an established superstar by then.And we all know the verdict of Brothers and Tashan.If Yrf and Dharma was such a big production house which spoonfed Srk they could have easily opted for any other actor.It wasn’t like they had to repay any loan to Srk or his family
@Challah 11.4.. I don’t agree. Who was Aamir and Ajay when Yrj was persisting in casting both of as both of them rejected due to other commitment? I won’t say they were superstar. Although Aamir had 3 hits and 4 flops while ajay had just 2 superhit movies pak jigar. That’s not a big deal no?

@Sure she, Aamir had Highest Grosser of the year Dil that too despite it clashed with sunny deol’s ghayal. He was superstar right from his debut. Who was SRK before YRF banner? Supporting actor in deewana, Maya memorable kind of adult films actor and few flops and after yrf’a darr his career finally took off.
