Housefull 3 has shown the highest growth for a ‘Post IPL’ release since Raajneeti in 2010. But that’s only when compared to Kangana Ranaut’s Tanu Weds Manu Returns last year – which opened very well on 2200 screens.
Ranbir – Deepika’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani remains the biggest ‘Post IPL’ opener, followed by Housefull 3. Akshay’s 4-year-old film Rowdy Rathore is at No 3, followed by Salman’s Ready which released exactly 5 years ago.

But Dangal is a huge risk taken by him and if it want to be HGOTY then only highly positive WOM can save the film.
#Mohenjodaro is one of the most anticipated film in the decade of Indian cinema and unfortunately it didn’t get a festive release date that the film highly deserving.The case is worse now bcz its going to clash with Akshay Kumar’ s Rustom.But in that case also box office analysts are saying that with positive response from audience 200 cr plus is possible for this film( by the way it will be a suicidal mission for Rustom) and without clash 250 cr ( with positive response)is also a possibility for this Greek God’s come back movie.(All in all it can surprise the trade with unbelievable huge collection)

It’s not a shock to see the opening of housefull3 because aki never was a superstar and 15 cr is his max limit. Before comparing him with even with young superstars like ranbir, varun and ranveer; he should first be compared with the likes of shahid and tiger
Housefull 3 movie is weakest comedy ever. Many comedy sense and jokes are really really unfunny. Movie is so irratitating. They try to make us laugh hard by forcefully but fail badly. Movie is so nonsense.
Akki is flop actor and his stardom has declined .. H3 released across 3700 screens and grossed 15cr

YJHD figures of 19.5 cr at just 3050 screens is amazing. Obviously it had great music but still very good collections.

Housefull 3 is a kind of movie which is only for non brainer. This type of movie has really really ruined the comedy genere and quality of bolleywood.

Yjhd is the best post ipl movie
Everything abt it was perfect , trailer was well made , it had catchy dialogues, nice tunes and some gud chemistry b/w leads
Cast- be it ranbir , dp or aditya and kalki every1 suited their role and all acted exceptionally well
Music – yjhd easily has one of the best music among any modern movies
Frm party songs to soft numbers to different illahi ,each and every song was chartbuster and still we love to listen them
These factors made huge buzz and then yjhd turned out to be a decent entertainer which resulted in a huge b.o success
We all accept yjhd is no classic but just a well made movie with awsome young characters to which we can relate and that along with marketing is the bottom reason for its success

Srk was never even a star. He was spoon fed by Yashraj and dharma his entire career. Compare him with the likes of Uday chopra and Fardeen khan.
Srk is depressing is his fans again and again. First with FAN megaflop and then averting clash to show what a coward he is.

I didn’t like the film, wish Akki won’t have done such film after Airlift. People have began to trust him and he should sign only films like Rustom. Even a purely entertaining film like Gabbar is okay.

1. Content oriented/experimental/offbeat films
(Eg. Baby, OMG, Special 26 )
2. Content Entertainment

housefull 3 get low opening because of bad trailor and bad songs.pyar ki ma is the only good song.the another factor is audience bored with slaptistic comedies,humshakel like trailor affect it too much.
haters bark very much against akshay and akshay fans hiding for one reason that os low opening.but if we consider post ipl relises then all filims get slow start and then gained momentum exept 3 filims.like that housefull 3 get,it will sure cross 150 crore,becuase its the best filim in akshays lucky franchise.
