Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan are known to be admirers of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now, taking their friendship one step forward, a 3 minute long patriotic song titled ‘Mera desh hai mahaan mera desh hain jawaan’ will be attached to the prints of Salman’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
The video has been helmed by censor board chief Pahlaj Nihalani, who felt it was befitting to attach the video on the PM’s aspirations for the country with PRDP.

“I feel the film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in many ways embodies the spirit of Narendra Modiji’s campaign for a swach self-sufficient India. Sooraj Barjatya’s film doesn’t look to the West for inspiration. The motivation for his film’s hero comes from our culture. I was therefore very keen that my video goes out with this and no other film. I am glad it’s being done.”
Interestingly, two videos will be attached to Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. The other is the trailer of Shah Rukh Khan’s ’Dilwale’, which is also 3 minutes in length.
