Shahrukh Khan vs Aamir Khan Overseas BO
As is pretty evident from the above numbers, Shahrukh Khan has dominated the overseas markets like no other actor in the history of the Indian film industry. Even his most ridiculed film, Ra One, has collected close to 11 million overseas.
But Aamir Khan’s last release Dhoom 3 and his most loved film 3 Idiots, have topped the charts. In fact, Dhoom 3 is way above the rest.
So the battle for the highest overseas grosser of 2014 is most likely going to be between Aamir’s P.K and SRK’s Happy New Year. The one factor that will hugely favour P.K is the fact that Rajkumar Hirani, the director of 3 Idiots, is directing P.K too.

All those asking about Salman Khan. His highest grosser is Ek Tha Tiger, which collected around $10 million overseas (57 crore) and his last film Jai Ho collected 36 crore. And Kick being an out-an-out action film, it has little or no chance of grossing 100 crores overseas.
i dont think both of them will collect more than Ra One because Peekay is about religion and HPNy is about dance or something like that,so no one is interested films like that.i think Singham 2 or BV will top the chart this yr.

dhoom3 n 3 idiots got benefits of Christmas period in overseas. whereas mnik collection were excellent even in Feb. srk is undisputed king of overseas.

Funny truth and fact —
(1) Jai Ho underperformed — Everyone blamed…..from Owasis to Modi
(2) Taalash underformed —- Everything blamed……from flop songs to revealed suspense to not so good climax.
(3) RA.1 & JTHJ underperformed — Only SRK blamed.
Lol. 2 big mistake in the article. First in which way Ra 1 collected 10.9 million overseas. As far as i know Ra one grossed 9.2 million there. Second thing is the list for worldwide grosser or overseas gross . Correct them admin. I think you don’t aware in top 8 list Srk has 5 films as Kank was beaten by Yjhd as the later collected 10.75 million.
But its great despite having less fan following still Aamir got top 2 film at the same time while more popular actor srk wasn’t able to cross his best Mnik collection with 4 holiday releases. And fact popularity of srk is still at the same level as it was in 2006-2007, but still Aamir bagged top 2 spot twice. This is called real victory.
PK will rape HNY again………..2008,2013 and now 2014……………
CE will release in some more countries I think….. so acquiring the 2 nd position is likely.

Domestic Topper Aamir khan D3 = 284cr
Overseas Topper Aamir Khan D3= 174cr
but srk is far away from it. his Domestic top is ce= 224cr and overseas top MNIK = 107cr deference of 60-70 carore far away from Amir & in the amount of difference 60-70 cr srk’s new mvi can ready.

Hirani and universality of 3 idiots theme, Franchise power, the ultra cool cop performance by Abhishek, US-Switzerlan locales, rejection of Krrish 3 by overseas audience have helped Aamir.. The truth is SRK with multistarrer vs Aamir with solstarrer. Even Bang Bang and Kick are destined for bigger lifetimes abroad.

Aamirs films appeal to overseas audiences like no other actors hence his good films are in the Top 2 position. Sarkar has an unrivalled fanbase overseas so consistently he collects around the 60 cr mark or above overseas. Generally his films are like for like in most cases over the years but when he does a unique film like MNIK it trends better across the asian communities. But it is Aamirs irregular choice of scripts / selection of films which gives him the edge as his well received films garner more positive word of mouth publicity.
Over the next few years these two will create records that will stand for a very long time, of that there is no doubt.
